Current Events: The Olympics

Today we have been discussing
The Olympics
for Current Events.

Each child from Room 9 had to bring in an article or something to talk about that was to do with The Olympics. Room 9 spoke about many different sports all played in the Olympics and knew heaps of facts about what had/has been happening.

6 children were chosen to speak about their current event in a movie recording. We hope you enjoy all of the interesting things they found out about the Olympics!

Don't forget to leave us a comment if you want to share some information about the Olympics with us!

Hi Room 9,
That was great reporting. Learning about the Olympics is so much fun. I will show your movie to R23 tomorrow morning - they will be impressed and they might want to make one too!
Well done on all the current events research.

Hi Room 9.

You guys are great news reporters! I hope that Mahe Drysdale recovers from his tummy bug in time to win a gold medal on Saturday!! Toby, wasn't it interesting that the slalom kayaking bronze medal winner actually lives in France but didn't make their olympic team. Because his Dad was from Togo, he was allowed to represent them! I bet France wishes that he was in their team now!!!

Keep up the great work room 9!
